Craig's vision in starting this company was to design and build homes with an attention to quality, details, and an insistence on perfection unmatched by others. By providing the highest quality materials and craftsmanship, by conducting all dealings with honesty and integrity, and by building homes of enduring beauty and lasting value, Craig's vision became reality. Personally handling all operations, Craig built this company from the ground up into a highly respected business with a reputation for exceptional quality and attention to detail. Over the years Craig has accepted, planned, and managed numerous complex multi-million dollar projects that other contractors did not feel comfortable taking on. This would not have been possible without his extensive and varied experience.

Since 1987, Workman Builders, Inc. has completed over 100 projects ranging in value up to $8M including distinctive residences, whole house renovations, kitchen and bath remodels, additions, basement finishes, offices and tenant build-out spaces.

Colleagues and associates recognize Craig as a strong leader who builds excellent relationships with customers, personnel and vendors. Along with his vast knowledge and experience, Craig combines outstanding human relations skills, management proficiencies, motivation and the commitment required for an organization to succeed.

Craig has also been active and involved in the community over the years. He spent eleven years with the LaGrange YMCA Indian Guides and Indian Princesses programs, and five years coaching in the Western Springs Junior Football League. Craig is the proud father of three wonderful children, ages 22, 19 and 16, that he has raised primarily as a single parent.
